Meet Lanny Dobbels.

He grew up farming and participating in 4-H and FFA (Future Farmers of America). In 1974, Lanny purchased a 700-acre farm in Bishop Hill, IL. Now he raises 2,400 pigs on it every year.

 

Lanny is a member of the Farm Bureau and the Pork Producers. He loves farming, being his own boss and working with his 700 acres of land. As for farming, he considers farming naturally "doing it right". He's devoted to raising healthy pigs for healthy pork.

 

Lanny looks forward to family gatherings on the farm around the holidays with his wife Diane and sons Nathan and Austin. And as often as possible, he treats the family to well-deserved vacations.
